Children Are Welcome!
As a family-friendly convention, DemiCon is proud to have a room dedicated to children's activities. In addition, the con offers a wide array of opportunities for families to participate together at panels, contests and so much more.
Programming for the children's venue is taking shape for DemiCon 25, and we know we'll please the kids-at-heart along with their children.
New this year is the Children's Costume Parade. Hey, kids! This is your time to shine in your costumes. On Saturday afternoon, parade through the hotel lobby in your costume and take your moment on the Lobby Stage so that we can admire your marvellous costuming.
You can help prior to the con by constructing a building! The grown-ups who are organizing DemiCon are very excited about (and more than a bit envious of) a special event for the kids. On Saturday during the convention, our young DemiCon members will get to smash a mini city á la Godzilla or whatever monster they like. We're constructing miniature buildings of cardboard prior to the con, and everyone is encouraged to be involved with the construction. There will even be a workshop at April's DemiCon Lite, and contests for the buildings you create.
Please be aware that DemiCon's policies require anyone aged 12 and under to be accompanied by a paid adult at all times while in any of the convention areas.
