Guest of Honor - Will Shetterly

Will Shetterly lives in Bisbee, Arizona, with his beloved wife, Emma Bull, and his tolerated cat, Buddha. (They didn't name him. They don't know who Buddha fooled into thinking he was enlightened.)

Will writes novels, screenplays, short stories, and comic books. He's proudest of Dogland -- your mileage may vary. He thinks his two best short stories are The Princess Who Kicked Butt and Dream Catcher.

Writers are often written about, which seems awfully recursive. Still, here are some selections from his reviews. And here's where you can find his books, and Emma Bull's, too.

He made a page for writers that has links to some short things he wrote about writing, books that he and Emma recommend, and a link to their writing classes.

He doesn't expect everyone to like his writing, but he hasn't met anyone who didn't like his cookie recipe. And while we're on the subject of food, here's a little something about wild rice.

In 1994, he ran for Governor of Minnesota and finished third in a field of six. For a few years, he and Emma ran SteelDragon Press, a tiny publishing house. It really isn't worth watching Toxic Zombies to see his very brief appearance in a very bad movie.

His dad, Bob Shetterly, is the second oldest person to sail solo around the world. Will's very proud of him. (He's also very proud of his mom, and feels a little guilty that he hasn't made a web page for her yet. He'll get to that soon.)

And now he thinks that's enough writing about himself in the third person.
