DemiCon XV is pleased to welcome Alan Gutierrez as our Artist Guest of Honor.

He graduated with a BFA from the Art Center College of Design in 1982, and began his amazing art career. He brings us a wide realm of art, ranging from fantasty to space scapes to anime. He has been published in ANALOG and Popular Mechanics. He has also painted Book covers for Tor, as well as made childrens books, puzzles, and trading cards.

Alan says he was inspired by such artists as Frank Kelly Freas, Rick Steinbach, and Alex Schomberg.

His Breathtaking landscapes and planetscapes, Science Fiction and Fantasy and Anime art will leave you wanting to see more. He describes his style of doing anime art as Anime Fantasy Realism.
