DemiCon is a not-for-profit, volunteer run science fiction, fantasy and gaming convention held annually in Des Moines, Iowa metro area.

Des Moines Science Fiction Society

DemiCon is hosted by the Des Moines Science Fiction Society, also known as DMSFS. DMSFS is a 501(c)(7) organization that seeks to work cooperatively with local individuals, organizations, and media to promote a variety of causes, including: scientific research, space exploration, literacy, and the arts.

Meetings are generally the second and fourth Fridays of each month and are held at the West Des Moines Community Center at 217 4th Street at 7 PM.
