Guests - Toastmaster
Back by popular demand, it's Rusty Hevelin as DemiCon Toastmaster.
As you are no doubt aware, a keymaster is the person who works with
the gatekeeper to guard the gates to evil, malevolent, baneful,
impious, and generally unpleasant dimensions. They keep the bad
things in, and the good things out. They are all that stand between
us and the forces of darkness.
A toastmaster does the same thing, but with toast.
However, Rusty brings more to our convention than toast.
A man known throughout the entire world, Rusty Hevelin has been in fandom for many, many years.
Reprising his role as DemiCon Toastmaster for the 14th year running, Rusty will be keeping various
aspects of the convention running smoothly.
If this is your first convention, be sure to attend his How to enjoy your first convention panel.
If this is not your first convention, be sure to take some time
to talk to him in the consuite, as he has numerous stories from a whole life in the science fiction
and fantasy community. So feel free to ask him anything you like. . . except for that story that
involves the escaped crocodile, the case of Beam's Choice, a boffo sword, and the chocolate ceremony.
He seems very certain that he doesn't remember anything about that.
