Auctions
Each year we have two auctions: the art auction and the charity auction. In the past, we have combined the two into a single auction. This may or may not happen this year. Generally, the difference between the two is that the art auction is strictly art items (the definition of art is beyond the scope of this web page), while the charity auction may contain art items, but also contains other items as well. The other big difference is that the convention and the artists split the proceeds of the art auction, while all the proceeds of the charity auction are given to a specific charity. This year the charity of choice is yet to be determined. When we know, you'll know.
