We love the Hotel Fort Des Moines and we will be there again this year. Located in downtown Des Moines, this hotel provides us with wonderful service in a bygone-era atmosphere. Room rates this year have been lowered to $75.00 per night for up to four persons, plus 13% sales and hotel/motel taxes. Suites are available for $99 per night. Like last year, our hotel features lots of function space, as many hotel rooms as we can use, and not-so-easy parking.   NOTE: If you do NOT use the parking ramp across from the Hotel (to the East), make sure to tell the Hotel so you do not get charged for it. The Hotel is also connected to the city's skywalk system, for ease of mobility. The Hotel Fort Des Moines is located on the corner of 10th and Walnut in downtown Des Moines. Please, keep in mind that, like last year, I-235 is under construction. Our directions are designed to help you avoid the construction mess.

Also, keep in mind that the hotel room block expires on 6/30/2005. So, if you want a room at these rates, reserve now.
