As DemiCon is now held at the Hotel Fort Des Moines, parking and one-way streets may be an issue, hopefully the map above will help. Our new location offers parking on the street as well as four parking garages. Some of the parking garages are accessible via the Des Moines skywalk system. On-street parking meters are $0.40 per hour during the enforced times. However, the parking meters are free after 6:00 PM on weekdays, and are free all-day on the weekends.

	The parking Ramp directly across from the Hotel Fort Des Moines to the East is an automated ramp. It costs $6.00 dollars a night and you must pay a machine in the ramp elevator lobby to receive an exit ticket. That ticket is then fed into a machine which will raise the exit bar, allowing your car to leave the ramp. The Hotel does offer the service of paying them the parking rate or adding it to your hotel bill and the Hotel will give you your exit ticket. The entrance to this parking lot is from 10th street. NOTE: If you do NOT use this ramp, make sure to tell the Hotel so you do not get charged for it. Hourly rates: $1.25 for the first hour, $0.75 for each additional hour with a $6.00 maximum for a 24 hour period. No skywalk access.
	The Allied Employee Parking Structure at 11th and Walnut is directly behind/West of the Hotel Fort Des Moines. Enter from the South on Mulberry St. This ramp has a manned exit booth. However, since the exit booth is not staffed beginning later Friday night and through Sunday, because weekends are free, attendees who leave during these times should not be charged to exit the parking ramp. Hourly rates: $1.00 for the first half hour, daily maximum and lost ticket fee is $14.00. Free on weekends. Skywalk access.
	The Wells Fargo Employee Parking Structure is at the South West corner of 8th and Mulberry St., two blocks from the Hotel Fort Des Moines. The public may park for free from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (18:00 to 03:00) Monday through Thursday, and from 6:00 PM (18:00) Friday through 6:00 (06:00) AM Monday. The public cannot access the ramp during the employee hours: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (06:00 to 18:00) Monday through Friday. Hourly rates: None No skywalk access.
	The Des Moines City Parking Structure at South East corner of 8th and Mulberry St., two blocks from the Hotel Fort Des Moines. There is a $4.00 daily parking fee which is collected prior to entry. The ramp is free on the weekends, starting at 6:00 AM (06:00). Hourly rates: $4.00 per day Free on weekends. No Skywalk access.
