The year is 1913 and the world is on the brink of a World War.  In Cairo, the city of a thousand minarets, tensions are particularly high amongst the Egyptians, Russian Cossacks, Prussians and the occupying British. A strange discovery amongst the archaeological digs has sent the usually busy city into a frenzy of activity.

It seems that notes, a diary and personal items from Charles Dodgson (AKA Lewis Carrol) were found in two separate ancient excavations inside sealed tombs. No other tomb disturbances were found. This is a secret but, of course, everyone in Cairo knows about it.

Rumors, intelligence groups and religious cults are vying to uncover this mystery as odd “accidents” have started happening:  mirrors smashed, people disappearing leaving only hats behind and explosions that rock the night.

Are these related? What mysterious forces are at work here? How did Dodgson’s items get into the sealed tombs? Does the fate of the world depend on it? Are the gin and tonics in Cairo really worth the trip?

In this LARP for all ages and experience levels, our adventurers will set forth in this land of wonder, where they might learn from the past and shape the future.
