DemiCon

DemiCon is a not-for-profit, volunteer run science fiction, fantasy and gaming convention held annually in the Des Moines, Iowa metro area.

DemiCon Planning Meetings

We wanted to make our planning meetings both consistent (so people will remember when they are) and accommodating to as many different schedules as possible. Early meetings will always be held the second weekend of the month, but will alternate between Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Following tradition we will move to weekly meetings in April and they will be held Friday evenings.

All meetings are open to anyone who is interested in getting involved. If you have questions, please feel free to email concom@demicon.org.

Des Moines Science Fiction Society

DemiCon is hosted by the Des Moines Science Fiction Society, also known as DMSFS. DMSFS is a 501(c)(7) organization that seeks to work cooperatively with local individuals, organizations, and media to promote a variety of causes, including: scientific research, space exploration, literacy, and the arts.

Meetings are generally the second and fourth Fridays of each month and are held at the West Des Moines Community Center at 217 4th Street at 7 PM.
