DemiCon XII Volunteer Information

A Message from the Volunteer Coordinator...

Hi! My name is Jeannette Roth, and I drew "Volunteer Coordinator" duty for this year's DemiCon. This will be my first time heading up this department, so please be patient with me! I'll be working hard to "learn the ropes," and to try to keep up with all the generous souls who are willing to give some of their time to help DemiCon run smoothly.

At present, I'm still working on compiling the volunteer needs for the various deparments, but I am prepared to take volunteer name and contact information at this time. So, if you're vying for the title of "living saint," I'd love to hear from you! I'll confirm receipt of any mail or messages I receive, then send out more detailed information when I've finished determining the areas and timetables for where helpful bodies are needed!

This Year's Opportunities

We are still in the process of determining departmental needs and the programming schedule (since the latter tends to affect the hours that folks want to work). Information will be posted as it becomes available, so check back periodically for updates.

"Earn for Every Good Turn"

Once again, DemiCon volunteers will be awarded points for every hour of service. Points can be applied toward the receipt of some fabulous gifts. More details on the "Earn for Every Good Turn" and available gifts will be posted as they become available, so be sure to check back for updates!

How to Sign Up

We may or may not be able to get on-line volunteer sign-up enabled this year. We're gonna try... but no promises. Whether or not on-line sign-up is available, however, it is very helpful to get people's volunteer commitments prior to the start of the convention. Having people "step up at the last minute" is great, and at-the-con signup is always welcome. But in order to determine where our greatest needs will be, advance volunteer sign-up is greatly encouraged.
