Welcome, me mateys, to the DemiCon Dealer's Room. Me name is Mandi Arthur-Struss, and I will be yer guide through this voyage for DemiCon 21. Ye need not buck any stormy seas if ye wish to sell yer treasures here (no pillaging is allowed). Just read on below, and you will find all the information you need about how to become a dealer, as well as where to go with your offerings when you arrive at the Holiday Inn Northwest!

Remember there be rules here. If you have any questions, please email me at dealers@demicon.org.

HOW TO BECOME A PIRATE (ummmm - DemiCon Dealer!):

  • DEALER'S ROOM TABLES ARE SOLD OUT If you have any questions, please feel free to contact dealers@demicon.org
  • There are only a few tables left in the Dealer's Room. Please email dealers@demicon.org to ask the availability before you send in your payment. The room in the new hotel is smaller than that in previous years, so don't wait too long to reserve your space!

  • Tables are now $35.00 each for DemiCon 21.

  • A membership must be purchased separately for each person working your table. There is a limit of four tables (or table spaces) per dealer. Because of the size of the space this may change.

  • You can reserve your tables by checking the box on your registration form and including the table cost with your membership payment.

  • If you have already purchased your membership and wish to add a table (or four), you can e-mail us at dealers@demicon.org.

  • Please remember to let us know if you have any special requirements: electricity, table space but no tables, specific number of chairs, web connection, phone line etc. Please note there is no wall space left.

  • Tables are not "reserved" until we receive payment.

Also send us your website information and we'll create a link on the main dealer page for you!

HERE BE THE RULES!

  • The state of Iowa requires that all dealers collect and remit sales tax on dealer table purchases. If you do not have a sales tax permit you may get a temporary permit by contacting the Iowa Department of Revenue. Please have your tax permit with you during the convention as you will be asked to provide this information.

  • All edged weapons and other sharp, breakable or potentially hazardous merchandise must be displayed in a safe and appropriate manner. Do not sell swords, knives, etc. to minors without the parent's permission.

  • Please display any adult themed merchandise in a tasteful manner.

  • No open flames allowed (e.g. no burning of candles, incense, illudim 348, lit canons etc.)

  • Do not "flow" your merchandise and displays into the aisles or other dealer spaces.

  • Music and Video are permitted in your dealer area, however please keep the sound to a volume that does not annoy your neighbors. If it is too loud you will be asked to turn it down.

  • All people working your table(s) must have DemiCon memberships.
