We will experiment with permanent markers and rubbing alcohol.  It is a strangely random and satisfying technique. This works well on any stiff cotton or canvas. It is lots of fun on shoes or tote bags, so don't forget to bring them to the con. White or cream color items works best. Canvas yardage will be available for practice and for anyone that just wants to try the techniques. We will also try a low-tech water proofing option on our creations.
