DemiCon Lite consists of smaller events or workshops that happen once a month through the year until we reach DemiCon.
WHAT: Bring a fuzzy sock to participate in this workshop.
Create your own sock ball hedgehog. Great for all your Queen of Hearts’ Croquet Games. You supply a fuzzy sock and we will supply everything else. Hand sewing will be used. Age range 9 and up. Adults most welcomed. If under 12 please have a parent or guardian with you. Will have a testing hole available to see how your hedgehog rolls. Located in the The Millie Knee Classroom at the West Des Moines Library.

WHAT: Join DemiCon Music for a whole afternoon and early evening at the Anderson Opry House (aka Candy and Michael Anderson’s apartment community center. Hear wonderful musicians and enjoy a potluck. Bring snacks. That evening around 6 pm, we will have our chili cook off (no competition just taste all the different chili’s available) and enjoy even more music. Come and go as you please. Different musicians throughout the day.
The event is free though purchasing cds from the performers are welcomed.
This is a DRY Site. No alcohol please. Easily accessible. Open to all who love music and fun. Will have a schedule as we get closer.
