In returning to when we once were, we remain at the Hotel Fort Des Moines. May will once again be blooming in Iowa as we return to this Grand old hotel located in downtown Des Moines. We step through the portal into this Hotel reminiscent of a bygone-era, and we will enjoy art, costumes, games, programming and music surrounded by the luxury of this hotel.

Room rates in our Hotel room block this year are $78.00 per night for up to four persons, plus 13% sales and hotel/motel taxes. Suites are available from $98 per night. Please call the hotel to make reservations and remember to mention DemiCon to get the the rates. Also, keep in mind that the hotel room block expires on 4/27/2007. So, if you want a room at these rates, reserve now.

Like last year, our hotel features lots of function space, as many hotel rooms as we can use, and not-so-easy parking. The parking ramp located across 10th street from the Hotel Fort Des Moines will again be unavailable. See our parking page for details and a map on where to park. The Hotel is also connected to the city's skywalk system, for ease of mobility. The Hotel Fort Des Moines is located on the corner of 10th and Walnut in downtown Des Moines. Please, keep in mind that, like several of the last few years, I-235 is under construction. Our directions are designed to help you avoid the construction mess.
