Gaming

DemiCon 18: May 18-20, 2007

DemiCon 18 will feature scheduled and open gaming events and the gaming room will be available throughout the entire convention.

We are looking for Game Masters to run games at the convention. If you'd like to schedule a game for convention attendees, please contact us at gaming@demicon.org or use the form below and be sure to include the system, number of players, and the skill level needed.

We are also looking for someone to host a LARP (Live Action Role Play) at DemiCon. If you are interested, please contact us with scenario information.

Various board games and card games will be available for anyone to play in the gaming room. You are welcome to bring your own games and setup in the gaming room and the convention will be full of 'volunteers' to fill your table. Donations of new games are always appreciated. Spontaneous games of Dalmuti, Munchkin or Mah Jongg have been known to occur. Come and join in the fun!

Learn how to Play Texas Hold'em with professional poker player Adam Stemple on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Gaming Room. You've seen it on TV and the internet but how do you actually play this game and what in the heck is a "button"? There are a limited number of people who can sit at the table. If you want to be at the table to learn this strategic game please email programming@demicon.org. But if you want to watch please come and stand around the table. This is not a Hold'em tournament but a how-to play workshop.

Prior to the convention, this was a form allowing you to contact the appropriate department head.
