Ghost of Honor - Douglas Adams

DemiCon 16: July 29-31, 2005

Douglas Adams was well known for his incarnations of The Hitchhiker´s Guide to the Galaxy, this series was also aired as a BBC radio series, a record album, a TV series, computer games and on Stage. He lived from 1952 to 2001 and has been nominated for Hugo and Grammy. As you hitchhike through our convention you may run into him. Just answer "42" to any of his questions he will allow you to continue on your way.

"A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete fools," -Douglas Adams. See and hear more from Arthur Dent and Ford Prefect in the Hitchhiker movie that was released on April 29, 2005

At DemiCon, we have a tradition of nominating a Ghost of Honor to compliment our Guests of Honor. The Ghost of Honor title both honors someone whose life has made an important mark on fandom as well as serves as a theme for some DemiCon events. With this year´s Ghost of Honor being Douglas Adams, you can expect the unusual from DemiCon.

Join us in the "ConSuite at the End of the Universe" and contemplate Life, the Universe and DemiCon.
